Silk
A balaclava is worn in a snow storm or in extremely cold weather under a cap, hood or helmet. It is the ideal baselayer for skiers, mountaineers and motorcyclists. The soft balaclava covers and warms head, neck and face leaving only the eyes uncovered.
Material
Silk insulates and retains body heat in a natural way. It wicks moisture away from your body and dries extremely fast. Silk is the strongest natural fiber and convinces through minimum weight and packing size.
Care
Hand or machine wash (30°C; gentle cycle) with mild detergent or dry clean. Do not bleach or use stain remover. Wash separately. Drip or tumble dry low. Do not wring.
